Say Goodbye to Fine Lines and Wrinkles With BOTOX Cosmetic!

Facial changes are a normal and natural part of life…but they don’t have to become permanent parts of your appearance, thanks to BOTOX. While some fine lines and wrinkles are caused by gravity and the natural aging process, others are caused by the formation of everyday facial movements like speaking, eating, smiling, frowning, squinting, and laughing…just to name a few. Over time, these facial movements can cause the formation of what are known as dynamic wrinkles, which can have an undesirable impact on your youthful looks. This is where BOTOX steps in to help. With a quick and easy injection session, you’ll be able to address the presence of dynamic wrinkles, smoothing over your look for up to four months without the need for any follow-up visits. If you’d like to learn more about BOTOX or the other injectables and fillers we offer, reach out to Aurora Medical Spa at one of our convenient locations and schedule your initial consultation today.

The Number One Non-Invasive Cosmetic Treatment in the World

Regardless of your age, BOTOX treatments provide you with an excellent option for managing the facial age process by diminishing the presence of existing dynamic wrinkles while also actively preventing new ones from forming. You’ll be free to keep on smiling and laughing while looking your very best!

What to Expect During Your Visit

Initial Consultation

Similar to other medical procedures, your provider will take time before your session to discuss your cosmetic goals and your medical history so we can ensure that BOTOX is the right option for you. Your provider might also take photos of your treatment area(s) so you can fully enjoy your before-and-after transformation!

Procedure Preparation

Before your treatment session begins, your provider will prepare the specific amount of BOTOX to be injected into your treatment areas. They will also offer to apply ice to minimize any discomfort during your injections, as it’s always our goal to ensure that this procedure is as tolerable as possible.

Pre-Injection

Once your injections are ready, a registered nurse will ask you to perform a range of facial movements, such as smiling, frowning, or squinting. After they observe your facial expressions, taking note of the fine lines and wrinkles in your treatment area(s), your injector will mark the specific areas on your face and neck to be treated. This will serve as their guide when it comes time to administer your injections.

The Treatment Session

Once your treatment areas are marked, your injector will use a small needle to inject the BOTOX below your skin. Although your provider will apply a topical anesthetic, you may experience some mild discomfort. The majority of our clients, however, only experience a minor, tolerable stinging sensation during their injections.

Post-Procedure

In most cases, your BOTOX session can be completed in as little as 15 to 30 minutes. After your injections, we recommend you avoid exercising or lying down for about four hours or so. It's also very important you avoid UV exposure for one to two weeks after any treatment sessions so you can ensure that you experience your ideal results.

How Long Does the Procedure Take?

BOTOX is a favorite among the diverse members of our busy and active clientele thanks to its impressively low impact on your day-to-day activities. Many of our clients refer to BOTOX as a “lunch break” procedure due to its ability to be completed in under an hour. In fact, depending on your specific treatments, your BOTOX procedure will likely only take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.

What are the benefits of BOTOX treatments?

As the first and only FDA-approved treatment to temporarily reduce and diminish fine lines and wrinkles, BOTOX is ideal for anyone who wants to refresh their looks without an invasive procedure. Not only will your injections reduce current lines and wrinkles, but they’ll also prevent new lines from forming.

Additional benefits include the following:

  • Reduced and softened fine lines and wrinkles
  • Relaxed smile lines and wrinkles on the lower portion of the face
  • The prevention of new lines from forming on the face and neck
  • The ability to treat excessive sweating in areas like the armpits, hands, or feet. These injections can block the nerve signals responsible for activating your sweat glands from signaling the glands to sweat
  • Although not permanent, your BOTOX results will last for up to three or four months

How does BOTOX work?

BOTOX is a non-invasive injectable treatment used to temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines that are known as dynamic wrinkles. These wrinkles are caused by the repeated use of specific facial muscles over time. By temporarily blocking the nerve signals that tell these muscles to move, BOTOX can smooth over wrinkles and fine lines while also keeping new lines and wrinkles from forming in the future.

How noticeable is BOTOX?

BOTOX works to improve your appearance by smoothing over fine lines and wrinkles so you can show the world a notably refreshed and youthful appearance. Our staff is made up of a series of highly experienced experts, and we’re ranked among the top 10 providers of Allergen products (like BOTOX and Juvéderm) in the country. This means that you can look forward to results that subtly yet noticeably enhance your appearance without changing any of the unique features that make you who you are.

Are BOTOX injections painful?

Our injection specialists use very tiny, ultra-fine-gauge needles to administer BOTOX, which, for the most part, ensures that the procedure is a painless one. Some of our clients do experience a minor, tolerable sting, and we can apply a topical anesthetic before your treatment to ensure that you’re as comfortable as possible.

What is the recovery process following BOTOX treatments?

For about 15 minutes after your treatment, you may see some slight swelling and redness at the injection site. You may experience mild bruising, which can last for two to seven days. All of this is completely normal.

Is BOTOX a treatment option for men?

Absolutely! BOTOX is a great treatment option for men and women of all ages. You’ll love BOTOX if you’re interested in preventing or reducing existing fine lines and wrinkles. Thanks to the long-lasting results, men are becoming more open to the idea of enjoying the anti-aging results BOTOX creates, and we’ll be happy to give you more information if you’re interested in learning more about what BOTOX can do for you.
