Treatment will last about one hour. This includes pre and post injection consultation and the 15 to 30 minute procedure. More ambitious treatments may last longer.

The Juvéderm XC gel is injected deep into the facial tissue. There, the gel fills the vacant areas around the nose providing a more uplifting appearance. And, the VyCross technology allows for the fluid to easily respond to any and all your facial expressions making for a more natural feel.

Is the procedure painful?
There is a minor pinch and numbing that comes with the injection. However, the lidocaine used on the syringe is intended to alleviate any pain. Additionally, a numbing cream can be applied to help alleviate any minor discomfort as well.
How many treatments will I need?
The initial treatment is intended to provide results that last up to one year. Touch-ups can be made during or after that year to maintain desired results.
Can I remove the injection?
Yes. An enzyme can be injected into the hyaluronic acid to dissolve the product. However, this may take several visits to accomplish.
Can I receive multiple Juvéderm procedures?
The short answer is yes. You can absolutely receive multiple injections such as the XC, Voluma XC, or the Vollure XC. Depending on your desired goals, it may be best to spread these treatments out over the course of weeks or months to avoid complications. You can ask your provider for help putting together a plan that works for you.
