Your treatment at Aurora Medical Spa will be administered by a licensed medical professional or aesthetician, depending on the service. Our clinical team includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and licensed aestheticians—all of whom hold valid licenses in the states where they practice. Each team member undergoes comprehensive and continuous training to ensure that every client receives safe, expert care aligned with our high standards.
How many times have they performed this treatment?
Our providers bring extensive experience, having performed their procedures hundreds—if not thousands—of times. We emphasize expertise and consistency to ensure each client is treated by someone with substantial hands-on knowledge and proficiency.
Where did they train and who is supervising them?
Our clinical professionals receive education from accredited institutions and hold advanced certifications in aesthetics. In addition, they participate in in-house clinical training led by our Clinical Leadership Team. Every provider operates under the guidance of a Medical Director, ensuring proper oversight and adherence to strict care standards.
Are the products used FDA-approved and sourced from U.S. distributors?
Yes. All injectable toxin and dermal filler products used at Aurora Medical Spa are FDA-approved and sourced from licensed U.S. distributors, ensuring authenticity, safety, and regulatory compliance. While we may also offer supplements, peptides, or compounded prescriptions as part of client care, these are typically not FDA-approved but are dispensed in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations from licensed U.S. compounding pharmacies.
What happens if there’s a complication?
Client safety is our highest priority. In the rare event of a complication, our trained team is prepared with well-defined medical protocols. On-site medical supervision and a detailed escalation plan ensure that each client receives prompt and effective care.
Is this treatment on or off label, and what does that mean for the client?
Some aesthetic treatments may be used 'off-label,' meaning they are applied in a manner not explicitly listed on the FDA-approved label yet are widely accepted in the medical community based on evidence and experience. Our providers will always inform you if this applies, explain the rationale, and obtain your informed consent beforehand.
Are all providers licensed medical professionals?
Some medical-aesthetic services may be delegated to individuals who are not licensed healthcare providers but operate under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner. In such cases, Aurora Medical Spa provides clear public notices, ensures all clients are informed in writing, and obtains documented consent, as required by Colorado law.
How is client consent handled when services are delegated in Colorado?
Clients receiving delegated services will review and sign a detailed informed consent form. This includes the name, license number, and contact details of the supervising provider, and a link to the Colorado Medical Board where concerns may be submitted. These forms are securely retained for a minimum of 7 years.
