Robert A. Young, M.D. is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has been in private practice in St. Louis since 1986. Renowned for his plastic surgery skills, Dr. Young has also served as a Clinical Instructor in Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr. Young earned his medical degree from Ohio State University in 1978. He completed his residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. Dr. Robert A. Young has been board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1986 and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Missouri Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, and the St. Louis Area Association of Plastic Surgeons.

Carey Patton, RN
Registered Nurse

Carey Patton is a registered nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her education from Indiana State University and Masters from Maryville University. "I have always had a passion for cosmetics and anti-aging medicine. Who doesn't want to look and feel younger and healthier?" Carey joined Aurora Medical spa with over 2 years in the medical spa field treating patients and has worn many hats including: primary care, intensive care, home health and research. "I believe that everyone has a right to feel confident and young and this is what makes my job so rewarding."

Jean McCammon, NP
Nurse Practioner

I am a Nurse Practitioner, and have been with Aurora Medical Spa since we opened in 2006. I have been a registered nurse since 1995 and a nurse practitioner since 1999.

My areas of clinical experience include the intensive care unit, the emergency department, and surgery. I have always had a passion for plastic surgery and dermatology. Working at Aurora enables me to use my passion on a daily basis. I truly love what I do.

It is a privilege to provide services to patients that help them feel better about themselves. When you come to Aurora, you will benefit from the knowledge of both nurses and aestheticians. Christen Seger
Aesthetician

As an Esthetician at Aurora Medical Spa, my goal is make each and every client of mine feel great about their skin! I want them to feel comfortable leaving the house without make-up. The skin is the largest organ of the body and the first thing people see, so everyone should take care of it and protect it.

My interest in skin care started at a very young age. When I was a little girl I used to try to invent face creams with items I found in the kitchen!

When I graduated from Mizzou in 2002, I began working for a skin care company that sold glycolic acid peels to spas and doctor’s offices. I loved it so much that I decided to go to school to be an Esthetician. I attended the Skin Institute in St. Louis which is a branch of the International Dermal Institute based out of California. Upon graduation, I discovered a new medical spa in St. Louis- Aurora Medical Spa! I have been with Aurora since the day we opened the doors.

Even though I am a busy mother of a beautiful son. I still make sure to dedicate time to my clients at Aurora. I am always continuing my education and researching the latest and greatest in skin care. I look forward to taking care of you at Aurora!

Hello. My name is Lisa, I am an Aesthetician, with a life long passion with the skin. At a very young age I was introduced to skin care, since my mother struggled with cystic acne. She didn't want the some for me. I am acne prone, I learned how to manage my skin. That gave me the interest in helping people with there skin. Who doesn't want there skin to look the best. That is what I love most about my profession. I get to see the transformation that you love your skin again.

I am from New Jersey, where I attended aesthetic school. I have been an Aesthetician for a little over 5 years, on the medical side for 3 1/2 years.
